Sorry for the long time ...

So sorry it's been awhile since my last post. I made it back to Japan from my brief time in America safe and in one piece. My trip from Osaka to Himeji was a bit of a chore. I missed the last bus from Kansai so I had to lug my two bags (49lb and 45lb) a box of 3 pineapples and other sundry items on the train and through Osaka train station. However I eventually prevailed.
What have I been doing the last few weeks you ask? Well mostly working. I have been teaching community classes and the Elementary school classes that I agreed to teach for a friend and had my first cram school class since the middle of July too. So lots of teaching. Many of the matterials I got in America have been excellent for getting me through those classes. Also I have been seeing the two ladies who showed interest in me before I left. They are both doing well and were happy to see me again.
Other than that not much of note has happend. Today I went to Kobe with Heather and Suvanya the two new JET's in the building and in an hour or so the new Arizona ALT's will be here. This is a rather short blog I know, but honestly not a whole lot has happend in the last two weeks. The weather is still hot, Himeji is still here (despite the 3.0 earthquake a few days ago), school will start again next week.

Still here ^^

So still alive. America is much the same as I remember it ... except that I am still having the whole reverse culture shock thing going on. It is very strange to be back in a country where 9 out of 10 conversations I encounter I can understand everything people are saying. Also same deal with signs.
Anyway, been back for about a week and not much to show for it ... well thats a lie. Actually tons to show for it. I have already refilled one of the two suit cases I brought over with me. Mostly it contains books and DVD's, but there are lots of books for school and ofcourse stickers and other nicknacks for my classes. I even got some programs last Saturday at the Mariner game that are in Japanese. Other than shopping I went to a staff party with a bunch of my staff from the pool last year and saw my friend Raff's play yesterday night. Tonight was Borne Ultimatium ... very good movie if you like action and comedy. Not much else going on at the moment. More later ...

Back!

So for those of you who have forgotten I am back in town now. It looks as though this first week back I'll have limited work (but unfortunately I do have to work ...) However that does leave the evening open. The second week is a more open schedule. I invite you to give me a call if you want to hang out. 206-463-6986. I have unfortunely forgotten/lost most everyones phone numbers or I would have called you already. See you soon hopefully.
